How It Works
Study at an Online Bible School on Your Schedule
Canadian Bible Training Centres is an online Bible school for anyone who wants to get to know God’s Word. Every course we teach is available online through our secure student portal, so you can study from Calgary, from anywhere in Canada, or from anywhere in the world. Whether you know the Bible well or you have never opened one, the portal gives you a clear path through our Regular Program.
Our online Bible school is self-paced. There are no live deadlines to meet, and you can go as slowly or as quickly as you like. Most students complete the full program in three years by studying about three hours a week. Because tuition is free, cost is never a barrier to getting started.
To use the student portal you first need to register. Registration is required for every student, and it only takes a few minutes. Once you have registered, use the log in button on this page to open the portal and pick up your studies wherever you left off.
Getting Started
Three Steps to Begin Your Online Bible Training
1. Register
Complete the free online application. You do not need to be a pastor or a church leader to register, and there is no tuition fee.
2. Log In and Study
Sign in to the student portal and work through the lessons at your own pace. Plan on about three hours of study each week.
3. Join Us in Calgary
Students are welcome at our weekly Bible study in Calgary, the weekly prayer line and our conferences. In person is preferred, but online works too.
The Courses
What You Can Study in the Student Portal
The portal includes Bible Doctrines, Blood Covenant, Christian Stewardship, Demonology, Discipleship, New Testament Survey, Evangelism, The Holy Spirit, Introduction to Ministry, Practical Ministries, Prayer, Righteousness, Understanding Authority, Praise and Worship, Divine Healing, Character of God, Foundation of Faith and Obedience. Together they give you a systematic understanding of the major doctrines of Christianity, with the Bible as the only definite reference material.
Support for Your Local Church
We are a support centre for local churches in Canada. We are not a church and we are not a theological school, and this training is not about becoming a pastor. It is about becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. We encourage every student to stay connected to their own church while they study, and to put what they learn into practice at home, at work and in their community.
